I have a theory: Lloyd in the shining 1980is Jack Torrances father. For one, knowing who he was at first glance, also the fact Jack inherited the drinking problems. Obi wan looks like he's seen a ghost.

Loved it till the return to Overlook. Felt a little too fan servicey there. I love how its still a sequel to Kubricks film, and not just on the books timeline. If Haunting of Hill House wasn't enough to cement this director as one of the best in the genre then Doctor Sleep definitely will. It manages to balance the right amount callbacks, scares, and storytelling. Doctor Sleep does an amazing job staying true to the book while at the same time paying homage to the movie. The story is interesting and can stand out on its own but the easter eggs just add to an already great film. On top of that all the actors do an outstanding jobs at their roles. Don't expect Doctor Sleep to be exactly like The Shining because it isn't. However it is a worthy and entertaining sequel with a modernized interpretation.

This movie is so underrated, they really fimished the story well imo. Why oh Why Ewan-You should of worn Brown contacts or had them put in later on with CGI as the original Danny Torrance has Brown eyes-Continity error right there. Looks very, very, very interesting. The Shining is one of the best films ever. This was the most satisfying villain death ever. One of my favourite movies of all the time. RIP to all that passed away. Dr Tyrell is a legend as well. The baseball kid scene disturbed me so much I had to look away. I've never heard anyone around my friends and their friends that said that this movie adaption was Ok or Good Either they all were in awe or they hated it.

Oh My God! YES! Finally something WORTH looking forward to! D <3 <3 <3. Can rose feel pain from her people. The most unrealistic thing about this movie is that he turned down Rebecca Ferguson. Absolutely freaking loved this book! HYPE. He had the high ground.
